- § Proteins:conformation, dynamics, functions and regulatory strategies.
- § Metabolic energy: generation and storage (oxidative phosphorylation, glycolysis, citric acid cycle, pentose phosphate pathway and gluconeogenesis, glycogen metabolism, fatty acid metabolism, amino acid degradation and urea cycle).
- § Biosynthesis of membrane lipids and steroids
- § Signal transduction cascades

From the analysis of the final test of the students that attended the course a good ability was evidenced in discussion of all arguments treated in the lesson
