Preclinical studies to assess the efficacy and toxicity of new drugs. Mutagenesis, cancerogenesis, and teratogenesis: in vivo and in vitro experimental models. Relationships between animal experiments and clinical results.
In vitro assays in pharmacogenomic studies. Genetic polymorphisms of biotrasformation enzymes and P-glycoprotein transporter.
Cytofluorimetry and immunohystochemistry techniques: some applications to study the molecular mechanisms of drugs on cell cycle regulation in human cancer cell lines
