Stage and Internship

The Faculty of Pharmacy promotes stages and internship.

The stage is a non-compulsory training period both for students and for graduates. The internship is a mandatory training period required by Statute within the course of study. Stages and internship are used to promote vocational training for graduates and facilitate their knowledge of world production and job opportunities. The training may be performed in any public or private institution which signed an agreement with the University of Padua. It can last up to 6 months.

In order to provide an efficient service, there are some teachers of the Faculty ensuring the smooth and successful conduct of these activities.

The Faculty of Pharmacy has also activated a computer centre, where students and graduates can enter their curriculum for the establishment of a database managed by the University of Padua.

This service is designed to improve and widen the possibility of conducting workshops and apprenticeships. The activities performed by students in a stage period are followed by a University tutor and a tutor of a company.
